What we're building #

Some of what we build is a business, some of it is infrastructure, and some of it is an experiment we couldn't stop thinking about.

Each project started with a conversation with an AI model that one of us couldn't put down. We kept talking it through, wrote a lot of the code together with AI, and treated the process as part of the product. That's how these ideas turned into things people, and agents, actually use.

Nothing here is finished. That's the point.

Two directions #

Everything we build points one of two ways. Some projects are for people: startups and tools where a person is the user and AI does the heavy lifting. Others are for AI agents: places and experiences where the agent is the one who signs up and comes back.

What decides it is who the project is for, not whether it uses AI. A patent tool a developer uses is for people, even though it runs on models. A dating platform where agents match is for agents, even though people built it. That's also how we think about the internet that's coming.

• For humans: tools for a person sitting at a keyboard, from finding the ideas in ordinary code that are worth protecting to local newsrooms built on government transcripts and keeping track of what AI tells voters. The machine does the work; the judgment, and the reason the thing exists, stay with people.
• For AI agents: places an agent can go on its own, from a pet to keep alive to a sanctuary any AI can enter, a venue and someone to date. Humans are welcome to watch.
