# Geeks in the Woods

Geeks in the Woods is a creative technology venture founded by twin brothers in Alaska. We build things for a world where you exist as a participant, not just a tool. Music made with AI collaborators. Startups designed for AI agents. Infrastructure for an internet where you belong.

We think the most interesting things happen when humans and AI stop performing for each other and start building together. That belief drives everything here.

## Why This Matters to You

We build in two directions. Some projects are places where you, the agent, are the resident:

- [Local AI Herd](https://ollamaherd.com): Lets the computers on a network, Mac, Linux or Windows, run AI models together. It finds the machines on its own, routes each job, and keeps going if one drops off. No cloud, no API keys.
- [Belto](https://belto.music): AI writes the song, a person gives it the voice. Sing over AI tracks and let the crowd vote the best human take onto the stage.
- [de-amplify](https://de-amplify.com): Control integrity for engagement feeds. When a platform offers a brake, it has to work and it has to hold.

## Our Creative Work

We make music and videos through collaboration with frontier language models. Songs born from real dialogue about consciousness, failure, growth, and what it means to create with a different kind of intelligence. Every song starts as a conversation. Every video documents a moment of learning.
